Actually fear is one of the few emotions we don't have to be conditioned for. We don't have all fears naturally, but fears of things that jump out at you, make loud noises, or look like predators are pretty much biological functions that require conditioning to suppress.

No, but I thought the same as you. My son was a trooper and went to haunted houses with us etc and laughed at everything. He flew in helicopters at the fair and doesn't afraid of anything.

Our little girl, she would flinch at the slightest movement from birth. This is something our son never did. She gets easily scared from loud noises or fast movements.

It works, when I was a baby my mom sat me down in front of the tv and had me watch Night of the Living Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and so on. I grew up wanting to be a special effects artist and while I am not that, I am non-violent, upbeat, and an all around horror fan.
