I upvote purely for mentioning the spider in the title. Some arachnophobe is gonna click it out of habit and freak out, but you've saved most of them this way.

I'm an arachnophobe. I went to the site because the post was altruistic, and I surfed all the pictures while half off my chair with my toes curled, but they really are some amazing shots.

Can someone please inform me on what type of spider this is? They seem to be everywhere nowadays and its very annoying. They seem to like to make large webs around artificial light.
