Technically The Rules of Attraction was also a sequel/spin off and it wasn't too bad. Beautiful scene from that movie. (MAJOR SPOILER ALERT)

It's with the hot girl from That 70s Show who's in the new fuck buddy comedy with Ashton Kutcher or whatever. It's awful.

BTW, you do realize that American Psycho is based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, and that's who you're actually quoting with this post, right? Not a big deal, just "American Psycho (2000)" as the source feels... wrong.

mila kunis? she is with justin timberlake (friends with benefits) ashton kutcher was with natalie portman (just friends) jake gyllenhaall and anne hathaway (love and other drugs)...all the same movie must have 2 "attractive, hot, sexy actors" though I have heard anne hathway is naked the most of all of them

The movie quote is not the same as the book. You know this, right? Not a big deal, just...don't be so pretentious.

Aspect ratio is a bit off, but otherwise great

Watched it first time a few days ago. Somebody, explain, did he kill all these people or it just happened in his imagination.

After reading the book, I get the impression that most of it is in his head.

TLDR: He may have exaggerated a few things in his head, but it all happened. The scary part of the book and movie is that no one besides Patrick cares that it all happened.

after reading the book, my interpretation was that it did all happen, albeit exaggerated. This in itself makes the actions of those who knew what happened all the more terrifying. One of the common themes of the novel is conformity and the status quo and its importance. I think BEE was making a startling point that the people around him are willing to ignore psychopathic murder in order to keep that status quo. At least, that was my thoughts on the matter

Sadly this is mostly true, people, especially those on the fast track in Manhattan circles are willing to ignore virtually ANYTHING so long as it confirms the existing order of things.

Did he have that threesome or was he filming himself masturbating while smiling at himself in the mirror?

I didn't like the book. It's well written, but some parts are stretched into infinity.

Just because you quote the movie doesn't mean it's okay to repost.

Great movie. I remember being a little dissapointed when I first saw it (in 2000). Of course they could never make the film litteraly after the novel, but still. Seing it again some months ago, i decided to pretend I had never read the novel and the film suddenly became much much better!
