  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

This is very clearly a crosspost. I'm not subscribed to /r/gifs so I haven't seen this image before. I'm glad that the OP cross posted it because I enjoyed it, so I gave him an upvote.

If anything shows how severely reddit has gone downhill, it's this.

Almost every comment clearly points out how this is a blatant repost, yet the votes still continue to rise. Lurkers continue to upvote shit like this, while actual contributors try fruitlessly to prevent this shit from getting its way to the front page.

This is everything that's currently wrong with reddit and the lurkers and digg refugees should be ashamed of yourselves.

As if it didn't have to be pointed out already, this is a blatant attempt at karma whoring off of another user's submission. Don't say it's a cross post; it's not.

It is blatant reposts like this that make me think there are groups/individuals that take front page material, repost it in a different subreddit within hours/days to garner a smaller, second "karma wave" to build up accounts to sell.

Clearly this is anecdotal, but the increase in frequency of reposts over a shorter period of time cannot possibly be an accident.
