Little known fact: you can put children up to 3 years of age in the antlers.
[–]makesupfunfacts 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago
FUN FACT: The moose is the only known mammal that has a symbiotic relationship with an arachnid. A species of mite that lives on a type of lichen the moose eats has evolved to withstand the acidity in the moose's stomach. The mites now live in the stomach of the moose and help process the lichen as it is eaten! SOURCE
