I realise I'm attempting to answer a humorous post with a serious one, but I wonder if others agree that obese asian faces can look different to obese faces from other races.

For example, a great deal of the fat often gets distributed into the cheeks, making them look a little like fleshy hamsters, whereas a westerner's face might have more fat around the neck and jowls.

This kid isn't necessarily obese due to eating habits, he might have Cushing's syndrome. Poor kid probably has a tumor and doesn't have access to health care to have it removed.
