  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

Whaaaaat? This is very similar to one I took in the exact same street. I swear I'd never seen this photo. Admittedly, hers is much better, but its still strange seeing this on the front page.

That's funny. A while ago (long time) someone posted a photo of a deer looking derpy and sticking her tongue out at the camera. It was voted up to the front page and people said how great the photo was. I immediately posted my photo which was a different deer in a different place doing exactly the same thing in a photo composed almost exactly the same way, but actually in focus (and in my opinions, better depth of field). Nobody even commented on it.

So here I am.

Dammit, I knew you would say that. I have no clue where it is. I posted it from an old deleted account. I'm sure it' backed up somewhere. When I can devote time to looking for it I will find it and post it here.

Edit: Hush everybody. I refuse to let you turn my Sunday into a disk-swapping nightmare when I'm supposed to be pulling weeds out of my lawn.

I'm guessing you are using Reddit Enhancement Suite and you tried to open the picture inline. RES thinks that any URL ending in "jpg" is an image. However...

The link is not to an image file. It is to an online utility that rotates OP's original picture using the browser.

I didn't recognize the statue till you said that; then I found it in the photos from my 2009 trip. I haz a sad. ಫ_ಠ

NB: Don't go out clubbing with your friend the night before your flight back to Chicago early the next afternoon; and especially don't let him start doing shots with other people; and especially don't let those people be hot Swedish exchange students, who, I posit, exist for the explicit purpose of being given shots by drunk Americans. I had to keep shoving bottles of water at him the rest of the night so that he might be a serviceable travel companion, and then I refrained from sleeping that night so that we would make our flight. I'm still having trouble living it down. ಠ_ಠ

Also, don't use your credit/debit card to buy tickets in the Metro! I guess they've had issues with those card swiper skimmer things or something, because Bank of America put a hold on my card; after that, I had to call ahead for permission to go to a bank and take out cash, and then I had to get a new card (!!) when I got back to the States. Grr.

EDIT: I thought it was the Columbus Monument, but that one's on a column, not the apex of a dome (nor near the apex of a dome, even); and it doesn't have a crown like the image posted by the OP. Are we sure this is BCN?
