She had her trial by jury, evidence was presented and it was fair. I don't see the issue other than giving into the media fury

Neither do I. I have heard multiple people today hear that she still deserved to be dead for what she did. This is why I did this.

I apologize for my stupidity. The irrational responses are poisoning all conversation today IRL

what does the judicial process have to do with freedom? I would think we'd want one that works instead of wanting to obey whichever messed up one we have. how is it not patriotic to want a system that works?

We have amendments in the constitution that endorse a fair trial. Now, while we do not always get a perfect trial, compared to the people who totally ignore a court case in favor of endorsing the killing a woman because the media tells us she is guilty is a far cry from the amendments that do make America better than just a kill first ask questions later senario.

i'm suggesting that maybe our court system needs more work. it's fair to disagree, but what you're seeming to do here is to accept the court's ruling because we have rules about how the ruling was made. That's a little beside the point; i'm suggesting maybe we tweak those rules a little.

I specifically dislike the adversarial nature of the court system. Two parties always fight to establish their version of the truth. That is not, in my opinion, how truth is determined. I have more ideas, but it seems like we're not both talking about the same thing anyway.

I do not agree with her being guilty or not guilty. I was not there, and I do not know for sure. If I thought she was still guilty, I would suggest maybe they do a better job next time.

I do not think the legal system is perfect, but a crowd with pitchforks is a far cry from our legal system.
