Metroids must be frozen and blasted with five missiles, not whatever happened there. However this gif makes me want to fire up my NES and Kirby, so thank you for posting!

Original creator here! <- Proof... The gif was originally created for a small banner design contest with a strict deadline. Out of all of these games, Metroid was the only one I hadn't played before. So because of the lack of time (and knowledge) I made it like this.

Even if I had known, doing it that way would have made that segment MUCH longer than the rest. That and the fact that even rigging this whole scene to work was brain meltingly difficult on the archaic gif animator I used, never mind the addition of extra projectiles...

I bought it for the 3DS. Really great since you can pick it up, play a level, then turn it off and go do something else and it'll save its state.

It's harder than I remember, especially the extra game. Guess I used to have all the enemy patterns memorized.

I think I was probably about 11 when I was playing that game through. I guess I really didn't have much else to worry about at 11 other than enemy patterns in a Kirby game. If I ever hit the lottery I'd be back to that lifestyle in a second.
