For those interested, this is from the BBC film End Day - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End_Day except it doesn't have bullet bill, obviously! Worth a watch though, I really enjoyed it. It's like a more scientifically accurate 'Armageddon' wrapped up in a 'Groundhog Day' scenario.

i think the level of ridiculous kind of makes it better. did you know that they actualy use the movie as a test to work for NASA. not sure of the specific details but they actually make you name scientific inaccuracies
