      I specifically recall a thread where people were deriding the OP for trying to force a meme.

            Only a few of the f7u12 faces originated on reddit. Fuck Yea guy came from /b/ and doesn't appear to be drawn from anything in particular, as far as I can tell. If it was copied I haven't been able to find the original thread on http://4chanarchive.org/ To be fair, Bruce Lee is in a pretty Fuck Yea pose, so that may have been the inspiration.

                There was a lot of hatred of the Fuck yea comic when it first appeared on /b/ so the original thread would probably not have been archived. I remember being on /b/ when it first started because someone posted something like "because /b/ deserves a higher class of meme" or something to that extent. I only remember because I posted my own version that got somewhat popular for a week.

                If you check knowyourmeme.com they have the original comics that started it if you go to the first pages of images. So, it has to be one of those.

                Ninja edit: ha, someone posted the comic that I mentioned I had made on knowyourmeme. This gives me some strange sort of happiness.
