Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

That looks great! As someone who tweaked another work, I appreciate your tweak of my work. Question though, this was my first animated GIF ever, let alone cinemagraph, how do you change the frame rate? or did you just double the frames and leave the rate the same?

Also, I went to click reply on your comment and I hit "report" on accident without knowing it. I thought it was very strange that it asked me if I was sure, but being super new to registered user use of reddit, I didnt realize what I was doing. I hope no harm will come of it, and I apologize profusely.

how do you change the frame rate?

You can set the duration of every frame of an animated GIF indepedently. In Photoshop there's a little dropdown in the bottom corner of each frame where you can set the duration. I just bumped the duration of your frames from .03 seconds to .07 seconds.

I also just noticed that the 1st and 20st frames are duplicates, which causes a pause at the end of each cycle. I assume this was an accident, so I removed it, but it seems it was perhaps a happy accident -- I think it looks more menacing with the pause. :)

I think he tweak is an improvement, but would it be possible to ad movement back to the ears? it leaves the deadpan stare, but adds life to the head otherwise.

The cinemagraph aesthetic actually prefers a little unreality to the scene. It adds to the otherworldly feel of the images.

Mac OS 10.6 and everything is up to date. Personally I love Safari but I might have to switch to Chrome because for some reason at my new place Safari will only load like 10 seconds of a youtube video while Chrome will load the whole thing, really quite bizarre. But honestly my apartments internet sucks so whatever.

I think it's always a good idea to have a second browser for backup, since everyone is going to run into a situation where browser X on computer Y has problems loading a particular web page. I personally don't love safari or chrome.
