That video does shed a bit more light. The first truck seems to accelerate, like it slipped into reverse. Not shown in the GIF is the passenger in the first truck. My take:
Truck parked on an incline. Someone set the parking brake. He put it into reverse and didn't realize the brake was on. He get out to see if something was broken or blocking the tires, realized the brake was set, and reached in to pop the release. Little did he realize, the tranny was still in reverse.

I think he did. The first truck stops pretty suddenly, but it doesn't bounce or rock forward like it would if it had actually hit something. It just stops dead. The second truck goes right on past the same spot without even slowing down.

so today my neighbor died in a very similar accident.
Apparently when she got out of her vehicle in her driveway she got stuck between her car and the car parked next to her. The breaks gave out in her car for some reason. Her car dragged her back down her driveway and at first she was just knocked down but then since the street sloped toward her driveway and her vehicle came back toward her before she could get up and stopped right on top of her, suffocating her.
Can someone explain to me what the fuck I just watched?
