One of the basic factors of human communication is order. The order of different sounds, 1, 2, 3 creates words which contain meaning. The order in which our words come in a sentence defines the meaning of that sentence. The same ten sentences rearranged could form a thousand different paragraphs.
And when someone on the internet asks a question by hitting the reply button, they are replying to the comment to which they are replying. Christ, I felt as dumb as you just writing that last sentence.

The very essence of communication is the activity of conveying meaningful information. My point still stands. Instead of posting "not talking to you dude" like a pretentious 14 year old, you could have said but not limited too:
"Hey dude, I didnt ask you, I asked if his post was a meme."
"I asked if >damn I wanted to say this!!
was a meme"
or even "I was talking to fenderlite."
and we could have gone on with a normal conversation about figuring out if my post is a meme or not ( which isnt to ask your question) instead of squawking at each other like a bunch of pre-teen girls.
Do you see the meaningful information in my examples?
I as well thought you where asking about his post since I had the intention of posting the exact same thing, and you where asking about it since I had commented that I wanted to say what he said.

We often get these in our house during the winter. I don't know how they find their way in, but walk downstairs and flip on the lights around 3 in the morning and there they are. Sometimes two or three of them. They'll stare at you like that, blinking for a good 5 seconds before they start shrieking. We keep a croquet mallet by the railing to drive them out the back door, but the shrieking usually carries on until sunrise.
