Sorry I did not, I stand corrected. Just an observation though, if ax is more accurate then why did it not turn up with the definition of ax like axe did?

That being said, I challenge you to log splitting contest where the winner will decide which spelling of ax/axe is most proper. Of course, said contest will be limited to axs/axes, no wedges or splitting mauls allowed.

A classmate in an upper division economics class did not know Mexico was a part of North America.

We were supposed to calculate N.American consumption of some product....the word problem had Canada, USA, and Mexico. Its not like it wasnt obvious given the problem included Mexico.

You're still preaching to the choir, and still playing with semantics. I didn't say they're a good news organization, but it can be hardly claimed that they aren't one. I dislike Rupert Murdoch as much as you appear to, but it's incorrect to claim that News Corp doesn't operate news organizations - particularly Fox News.

You can claim they're terrible, and biased, and inaccurate, and staffed by terrible journalists and most of the air time is filled with opinion columns that most people can't tell the difference between that and news coverage... but it's still a news organization.
