My favorite is in one of the movies, when the parents feel bad about lying to Timmy, so they pull out home videos. The dad says, "I bet we won't find a single white lie on this entire video!" They turn it on, and immediately it shows them sitting on either side of Timmy, they throw their hands in the air, and say, "The stork!" Dad says, "Well that was fast!"

My favorite adult joke from the show is actually similar to what you described. Timmy's parents have super powers and as such have a lot of free time on their hands after flying through their errands. They spend quality time with Timmy. At the end Timmy's parents walk out the door and say "that's where babies come from!". Timmy looks confused and asks "What's the machine for?", to which they say "you'll find out when you're older".

My favorite isn't all that adult-oriented, but it usually goes over kids' heads. It's from the episode where Timmy goes into the video game. Timmy goes into the underwater version of his aunt Gertrude's house. A crab/lobster version of his aunt then appears and wants to "pinch those chubby cheeks of yours (Timmy's)). Timmy responds with "I hope she means my face!"

It had some great adult jokes back in the day, but I'm sure it's run its course by now, having been on for years. Now I hear they're making a live-action movie with Drake Bell as a 20-something Timmy, Jason Alexander as the voice of Cosmo, and Cheryl Hines as Wanda's voice.

Look a bit closer. The only cartoons I've seen that aren't loaded with humor that adults will get but that children will not, are those sweatshop disney princess videos and ones like them. the direct to DVD shit. Everything on TV is meant for adults as much as children.

That's not really the punchline. The humor comes from Timmy's seeming realization in the last panel about what his father is talking about. It character-driven humor as opposed to gag-driven humor.
