That other subreddit is dead. Use /r/nsfw_gif. It has a lot more activity. I was using my browsers autocomplete to take me there for a while, and I couldn't figure out why the subreddit occasionally had no new posts. It's because I was accidentially going to the other one.

Since the moderators removed the link from the sidebar /r/gifs has been shitstormed with NSFW gifs, to the point some people even unsubscribed.

For what it's worth, the sidebar indicates that NSFW gifs posted here should be labeled as such. That, to me, indicates that NSFW links are welcome so long as they are labeled.

I don't think that someone who has issues with NSFW links is only going to experience issues with this or any one particular subreddit. I like to browse reddit at work, and am happy that there are easy and effective ways of filtering out objectionable content... Reddit Enhancement Suite. With this installed, you can not only load all gifs or pictures in a subreddit in a continuous stream with scale resizing, you can remove NSFW links from the page as if the don't exist with the 'filtereddit' module. Go to r/gonewild, for instance and it will appear totally blank.

There are very talented redditors out there who have done magic to make Reddit as awesome as possible with this tool by allowing you to customize your experience at the user level instead of trying to customize your experience at the site level. I just want other visitors to Reddit and especially to my favorite subreddit to have as great an experience as I have.

I do use the RES, although I didn't know about that feature. Thanks for sharing. I still think these kind of gifs should be posted in the NSFW gif subreddit tho.

I for one wouldn't mind seeing gifs like this one in NSFW_gifs, I think it just fits there. Not saying i don't want NSFW gifs in /r/gifs, just saying NSFW gifs needs variety, and not just semen + penetration.
