I'm a little overwhelmed by the amount of sound advice I received here. I mean, I was trying to make light of a crappy situation, but it was pretty cool to see people cared. To answer some questions: I just finished a semester of school a few weeks ago and I have a very good job, they just withold a paycheck and I had a few unexpected incurred expenses this month, I'm usually pretty good with my money. I'll be alright, I have some canned vegetables and I can bum off of my roommates for food, I'll leave the food bank for truly needy people. Driving to work will be a challenge. I'm going to try to find a coworker in my area to grab a ride with for the next few days, maybe even make a permanent carpool out of it. But once again, thanks for being cool people. This is why I love reddit.
