Interesting fact: Pigeons have the one of the best eye sight of any animal on the planet. With the ability to see the uppers of several hundred frames per second, while the average human can barely process 60. [S]he saw the bus coming at what we would consider less than 1mph and reacted accordingly. This is also why you'll see them sit in the road until the last second to fly away when you're going 30mph straight at them.
