Pretty sure the answer was C last time this was posted. Traits=/=Disorder

Yup. There's nothing necessarily wrong with having traits of a personality disorder.

For example, "rigidity and stubbornness" is a trait of OCPD, but not all people who have this trait have OCPD, obviously... Which makes the guy's answer seem a whole lot less witty.

Exactly. We all have traits that can relates to any psychological disorder. When you have too much or too intense traits that is when you can call it a disorder

The entire point of the question is that it is normal to exhibit some "crazy" traits. Whoever wrote F completely missed the point.

Although it asks right there in the question which disorder he has.

I don't see any indication of any obsessive thoughts related to compulsive behaviors in that description.

The real answer is either D, or E, and I'd lean more towards Paranoid personality disorder due to the phrase "he doesn't trust his classmates to take notes for him" (paraphrased) and the preference for social isolation.

I do. It's in his perfectionism. He has to do those things.

That would be valid if his orderliness were a direct response to a pattern of obsessive thoughts, but that doesn't seem to be the case. There also doesn't seem to be any indication that his propensity for organization and structure reduces anxiety or stress.

I don't intend to come off as condescending, but you and many other people don't seem to understand how OCD is defined and diagnosed by the DSM in Psychology.

I would say there are some red flags for B or D.

I think they mean he never does something with his friends, if he have any friends at this time and didn't lose all contact with them because he didn't do anything with them. Also, it seems he have a trust issue, if he doesn't trust his colleagues/friends to take notes for him. So, it seems like a totally legit question and nothing to rage about.
