i do not know if this story is true, but it's a good one all the same:

For a senior project in a industrial safety class for industrial engineers The students were tasked with making a machine that was 100% OSHA compliant, with all the paper work to go with it. each group got to choose what it was they would build and document; but the harder to make complaint, the better grade they would get.

the only 100 was given to the group that built a flame thrower. Apparently the hardest part was the fact that the huge flame created a reduced oxygen environment. they came up with a cleaver airfoil shield that stopped the flame from affecting the "operator"s atmospheric environment"
