They're not. Parkour is equivalent to track racing wherein you're trying to find the smoothest line across a course. Freerunning is like drifting in that you're trying to get the most style points across a course. Parkour isn't flashy. Freerunning is.

I broke my arm on a trampoline when I was 14 years old. It wasn't even a cool way to break it, I just landed on the trampoline all weird. I cried all the way to the hospital and behaved like a cunt when the doctors and nurses were trying to help me. Needless to say, I am very jealous of this guy.

First time I broke my arm, it was during a karate match, me and this other guy punched each other fist to fist at full strength and broke each others arms. I didn't go to the doctor for a week cause it didn't occur to me that the pain I was feeling could mean a broken arm. It hurt but I just figured it would go away, no need to cry over it. I was 12 at the time.

MLBM100 just reminded me how I broke my arm around that age so I thought I would share. If I wanted to make him feel like a pussy I would have also mentioned that I kept practicing karate during that week that I had a broken arm, before I went to the doctor. Also I only went to the doctor because my mom overheard me mentioning to someone that it still hurt to punch punching bags(with the broken arm) and made me go while I kept telling her that it was probably nothing serious...

I broke mine after falling off the clothesline while playing pokemon (not the game either, just me spinning around yelling out pokemon names every now and then)

I remember the bone came out and I just ran around in circles yelling for about three minutes and then I passed out.

Not to denigrate anything that this guy is doing, but keep in mind that this is dependent upon knowing exactly what comes next and practicing those situations. It would be really interesting to see what he does in a totally impromptu run with unknowns and unexpected obstacles.
