Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), weight loss photos, posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. The slow conversion into an adventure game ruined it. Ironically, had they kept the old structure, in this age of DLC I bet map packs would have sold gangbusters.

Still, having larger freer levels was pretty nice. It was also cool being able to get off your board to get to certain spots, still don't compare to the originals.

I read a great piece about him skateboarding on set shortly after he died. I think it was Christopher Nolan talking about Heath Ledger as a person and actor and how he (Nolan) had invited Ledger to work with him while directing when he (Ledger) wasn't needed. So Nolan starts filming and he think that Ledger isn't going to show up and then some kid skateboards through the shot and Nolan is ready to be pissed off, but it's Ledger coming to work with him. I just thought it was a cool piece.

Oh no...you ruined it. I had seen this photo before and absolutely loved it. I hadn't thought for a moment that it might have been 'Shopped. Oh well, guess that just goes to show you. Not that you did anything wrong for shedding the light...but just makes me sad. I wanted that to be real.

He's clearly goofy, but what he means is it would flip the other way. He looks like he just ollied, so the board would have just started flipping. The wheels would still be on the right of the shot at this point.

Really? How long did you skate? If it was a kick flip we would be seeing the grip instead of the graphic. That is, unless dude is able to flip that chunky old school within a couple inches of leaving the ground which seems unlikely.

There is a legit photo of heath ledger in joker getup just skateboarding an I believe in a similar pose. A while back i thought it was shop but it was supposedly well known he like to skate around between takes. So I am guessing who ever did this image just took a still from movie and combined the 2. Not positive but pretty sure.

A guy I worked with was in Chicago during filming, and came across the set one day. He went up to the barrier where some people were watching, and Ledger skated up in his Joker outfit and signed some autographs, chatted, gave them his Joker laugh and skated off.

I love that he did that, and wasn't in some weird headspace while playing the Joker so that he couldn't talk to fans (ahemChristianBaleahem) (ahemOneofmyfavoriteactorsbutstillahem).

Bit of trivia for you... Although this is fake it reminded me of when I was doing extra work on 'candy' which Heath ledger starred in. He used to come down to the local bowl with a bunch of us and skate between scenes... He was actually pretty good and could totally tre flip over batman. Now he dead :(
