See, I'm not sure how I feel about this. I've never seen that comic strip before and did find it funny. It seems as though the default Reddit subs are like "top 40" radio stations. They can be fine if you listen to the radio for 10 minutes a day only during a small commute. But if you listened often, the mess of repetition becomes infuriating.

Perhaps the reason the reposts get upvoted so frequently is because of transient users rather than the more invested folks? I think in order to get the best out of significant Reddit use, I would have to cater to my interests specifically with smaller subreddits - much like taking my own music along for the car ride.
