This is fake. You could never take a photo with an EM of an ant.

They move way to quick and fast.

Let alone pose perfectly!

You do realize they could take a picture of an ant in a lab, not in the wild

I work with an EM in a lab, so yes, i realize that.

That being said, you can only photography dead/still objects.

And they are in a vacuum.

Ants can't hold a chip when there dead, or stand.

Maybe it is an ant statue that was erected by the other ants to honor a fallen hero who died trying to bring technology to the rest of his people.

And once a year the sun hits the chip on the statue at a certain angle and projects a map of their Holy land to the other ants in hopes to find the mother load of all sugar bowls.....

I like how your mind works.

Isn't it possible to freeze living things before inserting them into the EM? That still leaves the whole "how did they get it to pose like that before being popped in the freezer" thing, of course.

Its true that we do freeze things before putting them under. However, ice crystals form on the surfaces which impact the object that your studying.

And ant's natural reaction to cold is to curl up, and probably not hold a microchip...

It looks like he is angrily taking his tiny yellow pages out to recycling.

Even the ants don't want the Yellow Pages anymore.

So the ants are building computers now.

We're doomed.
