I'm very happy to see this mountain lion. When I was a kid - probably up until I was about 6 years old - I wanted to be a mountain lion. Yes, everyone wants to be something silly when they're a child, but I literally brainstormed for hours to unlock the secret of shapeshifting through what I would later find out to be puberty to emerge as a mountain lion as an adult. I took extra care to walk in a catlike manner, I would stay outside and practice my roar, and I considered hunting for my own food (which turned into eating dirt, but each kid has its own reason for eating dirt). I have a vivid memory of the moment when I realized that I was doomed to be a lowly human for the rest of my life. I was outside my house on a hill in the backyard all covered in mud after trying to run on all fours. It hurt my back and I gave up. I am still a human.
