Down here in the south, a lot of black Americans prepare carp the best, a good long time fishing buddy I had before he passed away used to clean the carp, descale, cut the gills and guts out, and then he would marinate and stick it in a pressure cooker and the meet used to fall off the bones, and then my yellow american friend just uses the head in soup, and my white american friend is to lazy to even try to clean and eat a carp
