It's a good thing that dog is not food bowl aggressive.

i intentionally messed with my dog when he was a puppy eating out of his bowl so he would be used to someone messing with him when he eats

This is a good thing to do (in case anyone reading is new or thinks you're joking).

Practice taking away (and then giving back) their toys and food regularly & randomly when they are puppies so they don't get protective over those items.

I did the same with my dog. You could do absolutely anything to him while he is eating and the worst he does is gets an annoyed look on his face.

Spot on, I did the same. Labradors LOVE their food. My 15 month old will sit by the bowl and wait for the biscuits to fall out, then she puts them back in for the dog, sooo cute!

yea, if you look at the other dog, that one is ready to fight for it

My dog just looks at me really really sad.

If you really know your dog you will see the warning signs of aggression looong before any attacks. Why do social animals growl, use body language, posture or avoid someone? Its all to send a message, otherwise they wouldnt do such things. If you have a working communication with your dogs, its amazing how much you can tell the dog, and the dog can tell you. And there is no aggression in that dogs behavior. It just says "no, human-pup, the bowl must be close to my head, or i cant eat from it"

I want to know what happens after the piece of dog food falls out of the bowl and the baby picks it up. Does the baby eat it?

[–]christhetwin 6 points7 points ago

Based on what I know of babies, yes.

[–]mrsloblaw 3 points4 points ago

Guess what? She has no interest in fucking you, and if she did it would feel like a punishment.

What? Does the baby want to fuck the dog? Does the dog want to fuck the baby? So confused.

Bad parent. Good dog.

That's one of those things that my Dad told me when I was young... don't fuck with the dog when there is food around, I don't care how well you know the dog.
