No one ever suspects drug dealers when they're on their elliptical machines.

[–]LTVOLT 29 points30 points ago

unless the person is black

[–]evilpoptart3412 22 points23 points ago

YEESSSS!!! I didn't notice he was black. Not racist.

[–]James_Russle 22 points23 points ago

The fact that you had to prove to yourself that you're not a racist means you're a racist.

[–]old_calico_cat 6 points7 points ago

Check your privilege?

[–]ziplokk 18 points19 points ago

[–]hooah212002 3 points4 points ago

He can't possibly be racist: he has a black friend at work.

[–]jrhoffa 2 points3 points ago

I think that's a step trainer.

[–]teamherosquad 6 points7 points ago

stair master where i'm from.

where do you live that they're called step trainers?

*edit: that's definitely an elliptical.

[–]BigDildo 190 points191 points ago

He's just the Piedmont Park Pedophile. There's no need to worry about him being across the street from the high school.

[–]zombiecslover[S] 48 points49 points ago

It does have a ring to it

[–]outdoordinosaur2 13 points14 points ago

Wait was he there today because if he was I was probably in school

[–]StartSelect 51 points52 points ago

Wait, so if he was outside your school today then you were in school, but if he wasn't outside then you weren't in school?

[–]joshjje 52 points53 points ago

Quantum pedophilia.

Professor P. specializing in G-String Theory.

[–]spazm 7 points8 points ago

You think he was there because of you? So full of yourself ...

[–]Matti_Matti_Matti 5 points6 points ago

Maybe full of the paedophile?

[–]didntVoteObama 0 points1 point ago

OR he's there only because the pedo is there

[–]bootyphat 1 point2 points ago

Is this in Oakland?

[–]zombiecslover[S] 7 points8 points ago

Atlanta

[–]Harrier10k 16 points17 points ago

Same thing.

[–]betweenus 3 points4 points ago

No, not it's not. Lived in both places. Oakland is....Oakland. There is no place like it. I've never seen a side show in Atlanta.

[–]sphinctersayhuh -1 points0 points ago

You bite your Libelous whore tongue.

[–]InsolenceOfaNewt 8 points9 points ago

See that was the plan. Put this black guy working out and no one will notice the pedophile under the crossing sign.

[–]Mahoohoo 7 points8 points ago

Or the pedophile riding the bike...

[–]Matti_Matti_Matti 0 points1 point ago

Or the paedophile on the balcony.

[–]ohlerdy 1 point2 points ago

Or the paedophile reading this comment.

[–]greggvl 7 points8 points ago

"The" Piedmont Park Pedophile?

I don't know that you're entitled to a definite article there...

[–]Matti_Matti_Matti 0 points1 point ago

Is there more than one paedophile in Piedmont Park?

[–]Drawtaru 3 points4 points ago

Maybe he has a kid that goes there and does stuff like this to embarrass said kid. I seem to remember a post like that, where the dad dressed up in a different costume and stood outside waiting for the kid to come on the bus, and danced around embarrassing said kid.

[–]ZincHead 3 points4 points ago

Technically, someone who is in to high schoolers would be an ephebophile, not a pedophile.

[–]Matti_Matti_Matti 3 points4 points ago

Not if the child is a prodigy.

[–]duckaducka 2 points3 points ago

thats in atlanta? what highschool is that, candy what?

//fuck me i thought that said candy :/

[–]zombiecslover[S] 0 points1 point ago

grady

[–]duckaducka 0 points1 point ago

yesh, my mum went there, also grew up down the street from Julia Roberts

[–]sagan_drinks_cosmos 4 points5 points ago

I mean, this picture was taken pretty much exactly where Atlanta Gay Pride is centered every year. That's not at all to say gays are pedophiles. Rather, as a member of the community, I mean that those kids will have seen enough in their time to not even be fazed by one creeper on an elliptical.

[–]Heidy_Lo 0 points1 point ago

I saw this guy outside Piedmont park a week ago. I was wondering the same thing.

[–]zombiecslover[S] 0 points1 point ago

yeah that would be about the time frame i took this

[–]Tokewithmebro 1 point2 points ago

This is outside my highschool... oh no...

[–]ImNotAWhaleBiologist 0 points1 point ago

Does the Park Tavern still have 'when it rains, it pours?'. Good times.

[–]MiserylovesATL 73 points74 points ago

Oddly enough I live RIGHT next to the park and have seen this guy before, he sets up his eliptical before he trains a bootcamp. They warm up and workout right there, usually drive up a truck to drop off an eliptical AND a excersice bike.

[–]zombiecslover[S] 16 points17 points ago

Damn I had no idea. He was the only one out there that afternoon. might have been 4:30 or so. Guy has balls. Not sure I would feel comfortable being right up front like that to 10th, also it would be boring. I need change of scenery

[–]queenielios173 28 points29 points ago

Need change? Just move the machine to another park, lol.

[–]9ninety_nine9 45 points46 points ago

If only someone would invent some kind of self powered exercise machine that could move through the park and even go from one park to another all while exercising the legs and body! I think I would call it a CyBycle.

[–]lukeatron 7 points8 points ago

[–]MaenadsWish 3 points4 points ago

Just one more reason why you should move to Portland, Oregon!

They have them for rent. I saw two guys ellipticycling yesterday while I was jogging. Just keeping it weird.

[–]El_Chupocabra 5 points6 points ago

Put it in the back of a pick up and then have somebody drive you around

[–]system_limbic 0 points1 point ago

What ever happened to jogging? They're already outside. :/

[–]TrustiestMuffin 0 points1 point ago

You should share with him the joys of the Eliptigo...

http://www.elliptigo.com/

My father bought one since his knees aren't so hot after years of running. Definitely a conversation starter. You can book it to. He's to the point where he can pass bikers on the trail (mostly level asphalt trail in Southern California)

[–]Bazingachic 21 points22 points ago

When you want to get out and exercise without actually going anywhere.

[–]zombiecslover[S] 7 points8 points ago

makes me wonder how far away he lives though, seeing how he had to cart the thing down there.

[–]ffn 0 points1 point ago

That's the actual workout.

[–]Bobbycoxtat 61 points62 points ago

I better post that I recognize piedmont park too.

[–]lawltech 7 points8 points ago

[–]zombiecslover[S] 5 points6 points ago

unless your home is a couple miles away and all up hill.

[–]NominallySafeForWork 3 points4 points ago

Right... this was in the park. Sorry. I didn't read the title, and it looked kind of like a driveway to me.

[–]piccini9 8 points9 points ago

A few years ago I helped a friend move a treadmill into someone's house to replace a broken one. When we dragged the old one out into the driveway, the customer (local real estate agent) said, "Oh this would be so nice, having a treadmill outside!" I said, "Or, you could... go for a walk." She looked at me like I had two heads.

[–]Emperor_Mao 5 points6 points ago

To be fair he is probably listening to music / looking up stuff on his iphone.

He is getting fresh air , and getting out of the house , while also being able to focus on other shit.

[–]twilly13 8 points9 points ago

This is atlanta. He's not getting "fresh" air

[–]Emperor_Mao -1 points0 points ago

Well then lets just say mildly less poisonous air.

[–]deloycious 0 points1 point ago

There's also a bar less than 50 yards to his left. Odd he set that thing up in the most visible part of the entire park.

[–]virginlion 1 point2 points ago

Seems like the air would be a lot fresher IN the park rather than facing a busy street ...

[–]AlphaPigs 4 points5 points ago

[–]SteelingTime 4 points5 points ago

[–]ArchNemisis 9 points10 points ago

[–]tbbrown 0 points1 point ago

[–]whistledick 3 points4 points ago

[–]GracieAngel 1 point2 points ago

[–]Kanye_Westicles 6 points7 points ago

[–]GracieAngel 1 point2 points ago

I'm not sweaty and I hate treadmills, but when ever someone has one in their house they have a room that smells of old sweat. Like the musty smell of disused school lockers. Its not pleasant but they don't seem to notice. Get a gym membership instead.
