I went on a ridiculous training camp starting on a Friday night and ending Sunday afternoon. It was run by an ex-SAS soldier who trains and helps select future SAS candidates, and runs these camps for groups. The idea was to promote team bonding in "extreme" circumstances. We were given a ration pack and had one change of clothes. It was basically a bunch of physical and mental challenges whilst getting from point A to point B. The kicker was the sleep deprivation tactic. It was only Friday and Saturday night but they ensured that we never got more than an hour of straight sleep, waking us up at random times and intervals. Couple this with the physical demands during the day and it didn't take long to feel exhausted.

I got home Sunday night, slept like a stoned Koala and woke up absolutely starving. I enjoy my cereal, so the combination of being able to sit and pour/eat easily and my ravenous state resulted in 7 delicious bowls of cereal in an hour.
