I wonder if they tied his room together.

Seeing this reminded me that I am not as original as I would like to think I am.

The CBC better be careful. Lance isn't going to take this lying down.

Does this mean that his title as the 'first man on the moon' is going to be stripped off.

Ahhh CBC Newsworld. The news network that reports news from other news networks and sends me the bill for the privilege.

Would you rather they only covered local stories? If so, watch CityNews, or A Channel, or whatever local program you have. If you want international news, would you rather they sent their own journalists around the world? Our taxes would be significantly higher, or they'd have to take away other CBC programming or resources to compensate.

Not trying to argue. I just appreciate their news coverage, and don't mind assisting funding.

Ideally we would just scrap or privatize tax payer subsidized, unaccountable, non-essential (semi) Crown corps in the first place.

But if I'm forced to keep them, I suppose taking resources from other shitty programs that no one watches to reduce costs and put together a real foreign correspondence team is the best option.

Edit: ie. If any of it was worth keeping, they'd have a surplus from ad revenue like everyone else instead of begging me for more money to prop up their failed business. I patently disagree with the Canadian Content bullshit argument where they deem anything Canadian created, no matter how shitty, as essential to our 'culture.' There's maybe a handful of programs across the entirety CBC that would make it on any other network.
