I have given you my upvote to help you on this fantastic journey rife with danger. You have trolls to your left and right who can disguise themselves as regular, kind members of the community along the way promising you upvotes while secretly downvoting you. Then there are the tweens and teens, a group so terrifyingly "with it" that any indication that you were born beyond the last score will result in your utter downvoted defeat. Look out for the anti-reposters - if they have seen it and can convince the realm, you will falter. Finally, the mods who will gladly remove, delete, and destroy your work, progress, comments, thoughts and dreams if they are not in line with the subreddit's rules.

But sometimes something will happen that the downvotes do not intend. Your post will be upvoted by the most unlikely creatures imaginable: lurkers, new users, old users who appreciate content that is presented well, and even some trolls. For the time will soon come when these unlikely creatures will shape the fortunes of your posts.

This task was appointed to you, egrounds, and if you do not find a way for your post to make it to the front page, no one will. You know what you must do and you will be afraid to do it...but even the accounts with the lowest karma can change the course of their future posts.
