Did this once in Super Smash Bros. We were far enough away from each other that we didn't make contact, but close enough that the animations appeared to touch, so the end result looked like a perfect equal and opposite cancellation. The shortest SSB game I ever played lasted about 3 seconds. It was one-on-one, one life each, to settle a personal dispute in the end of the tournament we'd been holding. I was DK, my opponent was Captain Falcon. It went like this:

Believe it or not, a game would have great difficulty blowing up a computer like that. Software generally doesn't contribute to hardware failure. I suppose you could potentially overclock the computer and run the hardware as hard as possible and slightly increase the probability, but simultaneous falcon punching would not be able to cause an instant failure.
