is this a real photo? I dont see what could have dont that kind of damage to a shark. it looks like it has bite marks on it roughly the size of another sharks jaws but to my knowledge sharks dont really fight each other.

I saw / read somewhere that whites will often bite it's mate prior to or during coitus. It might have just been speculation, since there are a lot of unknowns when it comes to white sharks. Anyways, I'm not OP so it could be edited, but whites definitely get beat the fuck up during their lifetime and researchers use those scars to tell them apart.

(edit) after checking, looks like you are right, the consensus is that the orca would win. The video I saw showed the Orca as quite substantially bigger than the shark though is that correct?!
