Single gunshot to the head as far as I know.. 56% of suicides committed by firearm and suicide forms 1.5% of all deaths compared to less than 1% being homicide. Given his access to guns it's not unlikely he may have killed himself, but if investigators are ruling it a homicide I'll take their word for it.
