My only problem is that we judge the dad just the same as he judges us. This doesn't argue in the favor of both sides, it's just both sides claiming to be right. Just because the dad is obese and the son looks a little chubby doesn't make him a bad dad, he could love his son and take fantastic care of him. We just see the "Freedom" and assume that he's another trucker Murica kinda guy, but we need to be willing to see past that.

Or, just maybe, I need to stop looking so deep into a comic. xD

Thats a women and I think you severely underestimate us on /r/trees. Or maybe not. I don't know how someone could not get this comic, it's blatantly obvious what it is trying to do. People see pot as a negative on society, but fail to realize their socially acceptable habits as a problem, and in turn breed a generation much like theirs - ignorant and prejudice.

yea. I just see her as an over representation of all of the close minded people who fail to see what the fuck it is the are doing to our country. The saddest thing I have ever heard, don't tell me about it, I don't want to hear it, happens in many conversations with my own family! Its as if they don't even want to be educated and they wish to live in this illusion of a world, where money is all that matters and the law is the law.

Anyone want to explain what this comic actually means? I'll start. Trucker Dad is judging Pot Smoker because he thinks "he has a bad influence." But he's just expressing himself, as the 1st amendment intended. And Trucker Dad's shirt has "Freedom" as a logo on his shirt. Which contradicts the two characters.

Trucker Son has ice cream, and Trucker Dad has a slushee/iced drink. Having identical features, this represents that the trucker son will one day become trucker dad. But Trucker Dad claims Pop Smoker as being a bad influence on his kid. And this just contradict the whole meaning to this image mannnnmmmmnnn

This is silly. Not every pot smoker is successful, not everyone that doesn't smoke pot is unsuccessful. There are various valid arguments for or against weed, mostly for but still. Anyway, don't try to fight a battle by demonizing the other side, that is a dumb way to argue because it can invalidate your own argument, which should, and this one does, stand on its own.
