I do that tshirt fold all the time at the laundry mat and pple around me just stare. Their brain does not compute. 2 shirts fit side by side perfectly on my shelves in my closest when I use that technique.

I used to work as a housekeeper in a 5 star resort. Folding sheets this way is embedded into my soul. I also fold towels differently so they fit on racks easier. That job broke me.

To be honest, though, the sheets do look much more presentable that way.

I too have worked at many hotels. This is indeed how we fold all fitted sheets. We also fold the regular sheets as well, and make the traditional hospital corners on top of the fitted sheet. (Former Marriott Employee)
