While I applaud your intentions, I'm afraid that this type of thing feeds the beast. To make them go away, we must render them irrelevant by refusing to give them publicity, refusing to talk about them, and as hard as it may be, refusing to get emotional.

I did not make this. I do, however, believe that ignoring them won't stop anything. They were showing up at soldier's funerals before anyone knew who they were and they will continue to do it even if people don't acknowledge their existence.

Next best thing to do is show them that the internet has far more power to stir up a shit storm for them than their little protests and hate mongering could ever achieve.

I have anguished over this very thought many times in the past. I definitely see where you are coming from, but this group is irrational, if not delusional. Standard tactics are not going to work with them. They want us to be mad. They want to be plastered all over the networks because they know that for every 10,000 people they piss off, chances are there is at least 1 person who will listen to and agree with their message.

There's the large difference. The groups and news shows that argue with these people are mad. Reddit, on the other hand, is capable of being far more irrational and using tactics that no other group has the capacity to even think of.

It is for this reason that I posted it here. Hopefully to get voted relatively high up or at least get a decent amount of exposure so the internet can do what it does best and troll the fuck out of these pricks.

Best part about it is that no matter what inappropriate/gross things are sent to this man's house as a result of this, nobody will feel sorry for him and everyone will thoroughly enjoy the result.
