Despite whether infrared was actually used on this image or not, in winter forest can look like this. And I'm glad that I was reminded of that. Winters have been pretty shitty lately where I live.

Very captivating image. I know nothing about photography and don't know why the photographers are trippin'. I personally could not care less about what kind of film was used, because I wouldn't know it if it hit me in the face. All I see is an amazing image that makes me feel as though im laying on the snow looking up into a frozen forest.

There were lots of different kinds of trees on the mountain. That was one cluster. There were also evergreens and ones that looked a little more like yours. But I beg your forgiveness for my complete ignorance, reddit/tree master.
