    I smoked only once in 2 years. All because I don't have a dealer. (And I'm pretty broke too, so I'm not looking for one)

    Edit : On a nicer side, the 1 time I smoked, it was OG Kush in a VaporGenie, and I can't remember what happened after.

    In my case, I'd rather be high as shit by myself than sober with good friends. The reason? Most of my friends don't smoke, some do, but they prefer to drink and since I'm the one that drives, I usually end up as the designated driver.

    Ah, it's all good. My usual sparring partner is taking a break because "been too high for too long". I didn't see the problem in that but, alas, I'm solo for now. My personal tragedy is that I'll have to venture the outside world (-16 C / should be around 3 F) since my living situation changed and I can't spark up indoors anymore.

    iv'e been skimped out a few times and shorted and one of the dealers i tried asked me to smoke a bowl with him after we smoked he pulled out a knife and stole the weed i had bought, my pipe, iPod touch, and i had left my wallet at home so atleast i didn't lose that.... so iv'e been dry for 7 months and i only smoke if my friend has weed other then that i'm waiting for the rest of America to legalize it so i don't have to go thru shitty dealers (by the way i live in Texas just in case you were wondering)

    This is true. I'm I'm the process of picking up a bag from my unreliable dealer. Most likely dirt weed that he will say is so fucking good. Guy has never had nugs in his entire life, still claims his shit is " dank" ... first world stoner problems.

    Out of curiosity how old are you? I remember when I was younger (I'm 27 now) I could never find a reliable dealer. As I got older though it got better because you meet more responsible people who run it like an actual business.

    I only ask because I feel like being closer to 30 puts me on the older spectrum of the user base for R/Trees. It's always interesting to see what the difference is between older and younger smokers.

    1. The main problem I have is I live in a small ass town where nobody smokes. I could drive to cedar rapids dubuque or Waterloo but that's a bit of a drive with trees. Story of my life " this small town is killing me"

    How is that in any way a bad thing? I haven't been a daily potsmoker since October 2011. One day I just went outside, smoked up, and decided "I don't like having this feeling every day anymore." And you know what? My lungs have thanked me for it. My physical and mental health have thanked me for it. Before, I had a disgusting constant cough straight from my throat that was loud as fuck, I would get winded running for 5 minutes, and for some reason, I just wouldn't "feel right" if I hadn't been high that day, which is scary as fuck looking back on it. In just over a year I've increased my fitness level, put on a ton of muscle and stamina. My going to the gym first 4, then 5 days a week coincided with my decision to stop smoking pot daily. Coincidence? I get high every 1-2 months now and have no desire for any frequency higher than that.

    I've been dry since October (by choice/force) because I needed to study for school and was applying to be a grad assistant and intern at a hospital. I'll probably get tested.

    I just decided to go back to school this year to get my MBA and am having to study really hard since I'm a little older. It's really stressful and weed always helped me get through the rough times with my anxiety. I'm quitting my full time job soon to go full time and if I get this internship (just interviewed Friday) it will totally set me up to have a Merry Green Christmas.

    I don't know why I decided to share this here but I needed to get it off my chest. Ents, cross your fingers for me please.

    TL;DR- went back to school and soon quitting full time job. Been dry almost 3 mos. Need to get drug test over with to return to less stressed life with trees. Love you bros.

      Just remember being dry is not a bad thing. Its good to have a tolerance break. I personally use it because of a disease I have called Acute Intermittent Porphyria. When Marijuana stops working its time for that break or a new strain. It will also save you money when you can start back up.

      Colorado here. It's never dry. I have literally stood on a street and said "where the weed at" and got some. On the other hand if you all move here you'll smoke up all my weed so stay away!

      I've been dry for a while because my roommates don't have any money, ever, and will ask for weed constantly and smoke the shit out of it any chance they get if I do bring weed, or alcohol, into the apartment. Just taking a tolerance break, I guess, until I get home for the holidays, but god damn is it fucking annoying, probably moving out after next month because some shit is owed to me.

      At least I have a little over an 1/8th waiting for me when I get back from when I visited for Thanksgiving. As well as my favorite bong.
