This made the news last year. The girl is Elizabeth Herrick from Oregon. She and her boyfriend Joshua Washburn slaughtered their dying 32 year old horse and then took these photos. Neither person was arrested and "detectives ruled no charges would be filed against the pair since nothing they did is technically illegal in the state of Oregon."
