I mean this in a serious way. I think your moms cat may be retarded, as in actually mentally handicapped. It occurs in animals as frequently as humans, though animals in the wild tend to not survive too long. Here are some examples.

He is really grumpy, especially if you are late with breakfast. He will swat your legs and yell at you with his nasally meows until the breakfast is provided.

I have no idea why but, grumpy cats are cute. I just want to hug them and pet them until I cheer them up (even though this would probably have the opposite effect and they'd end up biting me or escaping).
