I don't know why that bothers me so much. I remember being a kid, reading an issue of Uncanny X-Men from the 70s and noting that the letterer used "telepathy" instead of "telekinesis" to describe Jean Grey's ability to move objects with her mind. I remember feeling so much rage in my seven year old body.
