But if there were a legitimate reason there would be no worries in getting an extension. Sometimes shit happens. All of my professors would be cool with a legitimate crisis as a reason for an extension. And if they're not, go straight over their head to the administration. But since it seems to be a worry, he probably just fucked around and now it's all due tomorrow lol.

Oh god no, those numbers definitely aren't including distracted or worry time, just consecutive work time when I'm really focusing. If you were to include the total time in which I have my Word Doc/assignment open and I'm "trying" to do the assignment you could easily quadruple those numbers in many cases. That 9 hour paper (1 page), for example, was actually closer to about 20 hours (or even more depending on what you consider "distracted" time), and that was probably the most focused I've been on an assignment for the past few years (I take that crossed-out portion back, I recently wrote a 9 page paper in about 18 hours in which I was very focused, I felt pretty good about that).

On the topic of course difficulty, I've found it's gotten steadily easier with time (middle school was much harder than high school, high school was somewhat more difficult than university), and maybe that's a hidden reason behind my struggle (the lack of difficulty contributing to lack of focus/interest; papers at higher levels simply as you to regurgitate content from citations, whereas in past years they actually required self-thought and opinion).

The first three years were awesome, but my friends and I grew apart because I moved in with my girlfriend at the time on the east side of town. I went to Marquette and she went to UWM. I was either working or going to class all the time, and on weekends, a cab ride to the bars on MU's campus was more expensive than just going to east side bars, and vice versa. College in general was awesome. What I don't miss about it is the course load.

Well, here's a tip. He hated Colonialism and Imperialism, so in short he wasn't a racist. In HoD he was trying to point out the evils of these two by making Kurtz an icon of European settling and conquest. Kurtz is really supposed to be a monster, so I guess Conrad is racist against Europeans.

I think it was a Dog Whisperer episode, and this dog was always jumping on everyone and everything, knocking shit off the kitchen counter, etc. So the Dog Whisperer comes in and trains the dog, and the big test was putting these cupcakes in his face.

Yep. There's the find button (CTRL+f) and there's find all (I believe in the drop down menu from format). For the 'replace' slot put a period and for the 'replace with' slot, put a period but highlight it and change it to size 14. This can add lots of pages depending on how much you have.

Did that in my freshman year of college... My "Intro to Elementary Ed" professor, for our final project, gave us 4 papers (4-page minimum each paper) plus 5 classroom diagrams (creating our classroom layout, various posters/bulletin board designs, etc). Had all semester to do it, waited until 11:00PM the night before to start. Came out to 27 pages total, completed at 7:30AM, which gave me enough time to print, shower, and run from my dorm to my class at 8:00AM to turn it in. Ended up getting it back on the day of my final exam: "A+++ Most well thought-out, beautifully planned freshman project I've read in years!"...

TL;DR - Waited until the night before to start my term project, did 27 pages, got an A+ and rave reviews, did one of these and swore never to pull that shit again
