Because animals eating animals so makes you WTF

[–]FiMack 6 points7 points ago

Would be if that bird lifted a 3m salty. Then there'd be some serious WTF going on!

[–]Cougs67 10 points11 points ago

Suppose he grips it by the husk...

[–]kipthunderslate 6 points7 points ago

It's not a matter of where he grips it! It's a simple matter of size-to-weight ratios!

[–]lunchbawkx 6 points7 points ago

Now that depends.... Was he an African or a European...?

[–]IameAuhSomme 0 points1 point ago

Look it doesn't matter, can you please tell your master that-

[–]howtokrew[!] 2 points3 points ago

that croc is actually 12 foot long.

[–]FiMack 4 points5 points ago

If that were true, I'd be more scared of the bird!

[–]howtokrew[!] 4 points5 points ago

it's the thunderbird of north america!

[–]Silly_KoreanAzn 1 point2 points ago

There's a breed of eagle in china that's about the height of a full grown male maybe even closer to that of 6ft.

[–]SeriouslyFuckYouOP 1 point2 points ago

american bird is bad ass

[–]lordofherrings -2 points-1 points ago

You people spend way too much time pondering what constitutes WTF.

[–]4z01235 1 point2 points ago

What do you mean, "you people?"

[–]FluffySpork 6 points7 points ago

[–]xcalibre -3 points-2 points ago

[–]raging_skull 1 point2 points ago

I'm confused why people think this is real. It doesn't even look like photoshop. It looks like a cheap collage made with stick glue and magazines.

[–]Journalisto 10 points11 points ago

Imagine the looks on peoples' faces if he accidentally dropped that thing into a crowd.

[–]tweezyb 6 points7 points ago

Playground

[–]FatDIck9 2 points3 points ago

prayer circle?

[–]SamanthaFishon 7 points8 points ago

The strategy used by animals amazes me to no end. Makes sure to grab it by the mouth to hold it closed during flight...like a true boss.

[–]Chemical_Scum 1 point2 points ago

Well, the eagles who didn't do that lost their foot, died from infection and haven't reproduced. Thus, you only see eagles who clasp that mouth like a mofo.

[–]rvolo 8 points9 points ago

America.

[–]basketballarmy 9 points10 points ago

No. That is a Caiman. Caimans live in Central and South America.

[–]Perfect_Perspective 5 points6 points ago

Still America. FUCK YEAH.

[–]remote_production 2 points3 points ago

It's Tanzania. google "eagle crocodile" and search Images for this pic (on my phone, dont want to link the mobile site). Its a juvenile nile crocodile and an african fish eagle

[–]BrexBets89 -1 points0 points ago

And alligators live in America, not crocodiles.

[–]PBXbox 3 points4 points ago

Fuck ya

[–]Midn1ghtwhisp3r 1 point2 points ago

Comin' again, to save the mother fuckin' day, yeah.

[–]freshmillions 0 points1 point ago

if only I could wrap these two beasts in bacon...

[–]that_hz 0 points1 point ago

I love how that left talon is all like, "Shh... don't fight it."

[–]Canadinese 0 points1 point ago

..maybe the crocodile thought it would eat that bird!

[–]gkiltz 0 points1 point ago

Reminds me of the time I crossed a crocolile with an abalone. Got a croc-a-baloney!

[–]StarlingV 4 points5 points ago

No caimans in N. America. That is a bald eagle catching it's meal. Most likely an alligator, maybe a crocodile.

[–]sdbz 2 points3 points ago

Caimans were released into South FL in the 1960's, that picture was probably not taken there, but there are some caimans in N. America. http://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/nonnatives/reptiles/spectacled-caiman/ Florida also has lots of bald eagles.

[–]ordinaryguy19 1 point2 points ago

TIL. From the tail and jaw, looks like a gator.

[–]remote_production 1 point2 points ago

[–]space_monster -1 points0 points ago

I had a crocodile pizza once. it was fucking disgusting

[–]Rethen -1 points0 points ago

[–]codebeats -1 points0 points ago

OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT .................

[–]Phased -1 points0 points ago

Pretty cool that he grabs it in one hand by the mouth so that it can't bite him.. Even that bird knows that is a crocodiles weakness.

[–]Sonris -1 points0 points ago

Eagles and hawks are apex predators, sure we all know they eat fish and rabbits, but they have been documented hunting and killing wolves coyotes goats and deer too. I'm honestly surprised there arnt incidents of them going after unattended young children.

[–]SwissArmyDruid -1 points0 points ago

Had crocodile once. Or was it alligator? Either way, it was made into satay, and it was delicious.

[–]Zesty_lem0n -1 points0 points ago

STRAYA!!!!

[–]shteeeeeve -1 points0 points ago

A crocodile a day keeps the doctor away. Unless the crocodile already ate a doctor. Then, you're fucked.

[–]ask-n-answer 0 points1 point ago

"Sshh, don't say a word. Let me take you home to meet the family."

[–]StirFriday 0 points1 point ago

See ya later, alligator!

[–]ofd1197 0 points1 point ago

When it comes to the food chain, 0 fucks given.

[–]Squeezymo 0 points1 point ago

That's a gigantic eagle.

[–]go-rot-in-a-sewer 1 point2 points ago

crocodile is one of the best meat ive ever eaten. its tied with giraffe on my list, both are awesome and tasty.

[–]arkington 1 point2 points ago

pretty sure that's a caiman, which is only a few feet in length (like 3-4). they are actually incredibly dangerous as they operate in large groups and will bring down larege game. one on it's own, though, is kinda fucked in terms of predation. still impressive for the eagle, though.

[–]shit-head 0 points1 point ago

Somewhat unexpectedly, croc meat when I've had it is mostly fat.

[–]tattybojan9les 0 points1 point ago

I've tasted crocodile/ alligator (not sure which it was). I shit you not it tastes like a saltier chicken. Was fucking tasty.

[–]remote_production 0 points1 point ago

I had gator for the first time on friday. It was ok. It had the texture of processed chicken. I had them as nuggets, would like to try it grilled

[–]tattybojan9les 0 points1 point ago

Yeah we had it grilled in a Caesar style salad. Was really good.

[–]instantwinner 0 points1 point ago

Born in Florida, can confirm that Alligator is indeed delicious.

[–]duchovny 0 points1 point ago

WTF? Animals eat other animals?

[–]GrandmasterKirbs 0 points1 point ago

'MERICA!

[–]maineiak13 0 points1 point ago

This is an awesome picture... 'MERICA!!

[–]rae2609 0 points1 point ago

This is crazy!!! I go up to a lake in northern Minnesota every year and there are a lot of eagles that live there. I've seen then swoop down and pick up large bass out of the water before but this is unbelievable. I don't even know how this can be real!! It also really makes you wonder what the eagle did with it cause there's no way it could have eaten it.

[–]unknownreddit 0 points1 point ago

r/perfecttiming

[–]OjosamaNoOokami 0 points1 point ago

...and there it goes, like a boss...

[–]dmorissette 0 points1 point ago

[–]theserial 1 point2 points ago

[–]bennycabrillo -2 points-1 points ago

i hope a stingray flies out of the water and stabs the bird in the heart.

[–]Cmdr-Keen -3 points-2 points ago

[–]huntus 0 points1 point ago

[–]nitrojohnny25 -3 points-2 points ago
