            I dated a woman who turned out to be still married (separated) and on probation for domestic violence for trying to stab her husband.

            Of course I found out most of this after I called the cops when she got drunk and tried to jump off a bridge, then when she was let out of the hospital got arrested and send (back) to prison for violating her probation which stated she wasn't supposed to drink.

            She then went through a rollercoaster of telling me she was pregnant, miscarried, had an abortion, and the final yee-ha, months after I'd broken up with her, called me to tell me she lied all of the other times and had been pregnant all along, but had the kid, killed it and her and her husband buried it in the Nevada desert and I was next.

            They exist.

                "Bitches be crazy" is one of the oldest circlejerks there is.

                The word "hysteria" has its root in the Greek for uterus and basically started out as "that special kind of crazy that only bitches be".

                Many interesting critiques of literature, film, and other cultural works exist on the trope of "bitches be crazy", such as the Gilbert and Gubar work, The Madwoman in the Attic. Additionally, most comedians have a solid "bitches be crazy" bit, be it George Carlin's "Women are crazy and men are stupid" or Louie CK's "Men fuck shit up and women are fucked up". (I'm paraphrasing both of those, btw, despite the misleading quotation marks.)

                In reality, of course, women are no more crazy than men, and if you consider disorders like schizoid affective disorder, psychopathy, ADHD, and autism (to name a few) to be "crazy", statistically men be way crazier. Certainly when one gender holds a near monopoly on genocide, rape, murder, and corporate fraud, it would behoove the obviously insane bunch to go around saying stuff like "bitches be crazy" lest anyone stop to consider who the real crazy ones are.

                                    Honestly I do look for those things even though I've been called a handsome guy by hot women on a few occasions, it's hard enough as it is finding the right woman for a long term relationship, it gets much harder if you eliminate 50-75% of all women as potential partners based on their appearance. Obviously you need to be attracted to them because sex is important to a relationship but I don't think it's a good strategy to prioritize physical attractiveness and it's better to instead set a baseline and work from there.

                                    I'm much happier now than I was trying to pursue these fleeting women that are considered hot and bounce from guy to guy because they know they're hot and constantly upgrade and juggle multiple men because they have so many options and competition for their pussy, it's way too much work to keep these women satisfied and for that exact reason they are likely to cheat on you and take your kids if you get married. Maybe this is sexist, but it seems like when a woman is hot it's more difficult for them than it is for a handsome man to avoid being a piece of shit.

                                    I don't know about your last statement (and yes it's a little sexist). I've found that plenty of very attractive women are still quite nice and loyal. Honestly, looking back at the "worst" women I know, they are not the most attractive, not just personality-wise but physically as well. The same goes for men. I've seen a lot of guys who do the same thing (juggling women, cheating etc.) and sometimes wonder how they pull it off since they usually aren't that handsome either. This led me to my conclusion that it really does just depend on personality with both men and women. Of course generalities will always have some truth but that's just been my experience.

                                    I do agree with your initial sentiments though, and I apply a similar ideal when looking for women to date long term. I just try to avoid generalizing from that.

                                          I don't. However, there are only 2-3 attractive women in the entire building... it's mostly a sausage fest. There is little use to ranking anything. Every time there is a job opening I try to talk my boss into hiring a hot 24 year old. They have yet to do it.

                                            Maybe I'm weird but I don't think in terms of ugly. It may have to do with the fact I was a very fat and unattractive kid/early teenaged boy (I have now lost weight and take care of myself). I think in terms of "not my type", and "my type".
