ok, you know what? i am going to concede your point. not because bears are vicious evil monsters just waiting to eat a person (which was the original joke) but because bears generally prefer not to mess with people, but when people mess with bears, there is a small chance that people will die, and when people die (even if they brought it on themselves) other people feel the need to exact revenge on the bear for just being a bear. so yes, stay the fuck away from bears.
