• Do not respond to older threads with anything that could be a spoiler. Not everyone has Showtime and isn't caught up right away, so responding to older posts w/ spoilers is not allowed **If you are responding to someone's comment (usually from an older thread) with a comment that is a spoiler use this trick to properly respond:

Example: [DO NOT MOUSE OVER UNLESS YOU HAVE CAUGHT UP ON DEXTER'S {POINT YOU CHOOSE}](/s "example of the spoiler you wish to discuss.")

• All comments with spoilers (not responding to old threads)... add 6 #s (hashes) in front of your comment without space for a spoiler tag to hide your comment until you hover over it. THIS HIDDEN SPOILER TRICK ONLY WORKS IN THE DEXTER SUBREDDIT. IT DOESN'T WORK IN A USER'S INBOX.

• Content loosely affiliated with the show is not to be submitted. Submissions that aren't inherently about Dexter are to be submitted elsewhere. E.G. Posts about Julie Benz's career other than Dexter (and anything else of this sort of manner) are not appropriate material for /r/Dexter. These posts will be removed.
