If anyone is interested, here is the original screen test from which this gif is taken. I think he makes that expression at around 3:49.

Also, just something interesting I learned from the top comment on that video - the reason he made that expression was that he was talking about Eagle Rampant, a play or a movie he'd been in, and apparently he couldn't bear the leading lady's kissing because her mouth was so dry and cold so he had to swirl mouthwash after every kissing scene and she found out and got mad and got him fired.

It's almost better like that...he ended up being this incredibly fleeting image of male beauty. Rather than look like an old and degrading version of his most perfect years, he ended up looking like a second person instead.

We can basically have a perfect memory of his younger years because of that; they are bookended rather than slowly fading.

My English class last year was 12 girls, 3 guys and a male teacher. We did "Streetcar Named Desire" and inevitably watched the movie with Brando in it. My English teacher almost turned it off halfway through because I'm pretty sure some girls were close to undressing... there were communal sighs every time he took his shirt off or tensed. After that, discussion of the play was pretty impossible without "Yeah, but Stanley is crazy-hot".
