This is a photoshopped picture. The biggest breed of dog in the world is Pyrenean Mastiff and it's 32 inches. The dog in this photo is about double that. I'm sorry but unless this is a vet run by midgets, it's not real.

Those mofos grow to massive sizes. A friend of mine has one, and if it stood up on it's back paws, it's almost the same height as him. He's roughly 5ft 9.

in addition to that, the picture itself is at a pretty funky perspective. You can see yourself that the arms of the vet are behind the dog, more-so on the table behind the dog. This isnt helped by the fact that the vet is rather small, too.

You can also see that it's photoshopped, though. Look at the artifacting around the edges, where the dog's hair is thin and you can see through the fringes.

Someone below posted the Snopes article on this. They said its real, just forced perspective. Newfies are enormous dogs, my sister-in-laws family has one that weighs 190 lbs. This pic doesn't need to be shopped to look like this.

Newfoundlands are huge, I adore large breed dogs. It's just so terribly depressing that they have such short life spans as well as medical problems. You have your best friend for less than ten years. :(

Its actually a russian ovcharka. Not a newfoundland. And no, mastiffs are not the biggest dog in the world. Ovcharkas are. They were trained to defend their herds from wolfs and bears. It actually CAN take down a bear.

Just look at the metal arm in front of the dog and then look at the second metal arm in the back

Now that you have seen this, from my personal knowlage because my mom is a pet groomer, grooming tables are separated by at least four feet so two groomers can work on separate tables without bumping into each other when grooming. So no this photo isn't photoshopped it was just taken at the perfect angel to cause the dog to look huge
